The Heart of Dixie
«сердце Дикси», «сердце старого Юга» (штат Алабама). Словом Dixie (Dixieland) в США называют южные (бывшие рабовладельческие) штаты, оно вошло в обиход во время гражданской войны в США (1861—1865) как название военной песни южан, затем стало употребляться для обозначения всего относящегося к южным штатам и в сочетании с Democrat дало образование Dixiecrat — демократ из южных штатов (неодобрительное название политиканов-расистов из южных штатов). Dixie южанами произносится с гордостью, и the Heart of Dixie выдается алабамцами как своего рода реклама штата Алабама.
